Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the company’s climate strategy, focusing on reducing carbon emissions across the value chain.
Lead the execution of science-based targets and net-zero goals, ensuring alignment with global climate frameworks (e.g., SBTi, CDP).
Work with supply chain, procurement, and operations teams to promote climate-friendly practices and improve energy efficiency.
Oversee carbon accounting, including Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, and ensure transparent climate performance reporting.
Implement initiatives to reduce the company’s carbon footprint through renewable energy, waste reduction, and sustainable sourcing practices.
Ensure compliance with climate-related regulations and manage reporting obligations, such as TCFD and other climate risk disclosures.
Build strategic partnerships with external stakeholders, including NGOs, governments, and industry groups, to advance climate action.
Monitor emerging climate trends, risks, and innovations to identify opportunities for the company to lead in climate solutions.
Educate and engage internal teams on climate goals, fostering a company-wide commitment to environmental sustainability.
Represent the company in external climate forums, industry groups, and sustainability conferences.
